		<description>IF you are using a Mac I can recommend SyncMate (http://mac.eltima.com/). It is not freeware, but it is possible, and as far as I can assertain - legal, to use it for synchronizing contact and calendar without upgrading.
It is still in beta, but having used it for over a month without any problems, I have no problems recommending it.</description>
